　　Professor Xu Kecheng is a well-known gastroenterologist and tumor treatment expert. He is the lifelong honorary dean of the Institute of Biomedical Translation of Jinan University, a visiting professor of Nantong University and a part-time professor of Southern Medical University, the legal person and honorary chairman of the Asian Cryotherapy Society, and the winner of the "Bethune Medal". He has made a major breakthrough in the treatment of pancreatic cancer and won the gold medal at the 35th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Cryotherapy. In 2014, he was awarded the title of China's "Model of the Times" by the Central Propaganda Department at the "Model of the Times Release Hall" of CCTV and was hailed as the "Cancer Killer". He has edited more than 10 monographs and published 110 papers.
